Experienced, judgment-free help for drinking, drug use, and the problems that often come with them.
Maybe you've tried to cut back and it hasn't stuck. Maybe someone close to you is worried, or a DUI or a scare at work made you take a hard look. You don't need to have it all figured out, or be sure you want to quit, to come in. We'll start where you are.

People who want to cut back, quit, or stay in recovery
Professionals who need discreet, confidential care
Partners and family members affected by someone else's substance use

Why work with an LSATP?
I'm a Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner (LSATP) as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), with more than 25 years in behavioral health, including extensive experience in assessment and in residential and outpatient treatment programs.
Court-ordered or attorney-referred? I also provide substance use evaluations with timely written reports.
In network with CareFirst and most Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. For out-of-network clients, we can bill your insurance for you or provide a superbill.
Ready to talk, or have questions first? Call or email to set up a consultation. In-person in Fairfax and telehealth for clients in Virginia.
Understanding your use: what it does for you, what it costs you, and what you want to change.
Practical skills for handling cravings, stress, and high-risk situations.
Co-occurring concerns: anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma often go hand in hand with substance use, so we treat the whole picture, not just the substance.
Relationships: rebuilding trust and communication, with couples or family sessions when that helps.
Relapse prevention: a plan for staying on track, and for getting back on track if you slip.
It starts with a thorough assessment of your history, your goals, and what level of care makes sense. If outpatient counseling is the right fit, we'll build a plan together. If you need more support than weekly sessions, such as an intensive outpatient or residential program, I'll help you find the right one.
